Civil Service Examination (CSE)

Thinking of civil services brings one to envisage a working environment wherein they work day in and day out with major policy makers to efficiently run the country. They constitute the backbone of the country’s administrative mechanism. If you wish to enjoy the perks of living in a huge government house in a plush neighborhood, travel in a chauffeur driven car with a red beacon, access to 24x7 high securities etc, then you must try for civil service examination.

Civil servants are the ones who constitute the real power behind the government. Just like how general managers work in big corporations for its smooth functioning, in the same way civil servants work in this government system to perform a variety of duties such as maintaining the law and order situation, undertake the developmental work, work under the jurisdiction of central and state government to undertake various social welfare activities, collect taxes, formulate foreign policies etc. They basically work to ensure that the entire government mechanism works as required.
