As per the latest available notification of IBPS, the IBPS CWE Clerk – VI Exam pattern, eligibility, syllabus, selection procedure are as follows.
The Changed Exam pattern of IBPS CWE Clerk – VI exam
The two tier examinations for recruitment of IBPS Clerk from CWE- VI will not be followed by interviews. All the candidates who will register themselves under CWE Clerk– VI will be called for Preliminary examination. Those who will qualify the Prelims will be shortlisted for the Main examination. In final selection the marks of Prelims won’t get counted. Preliminary exam will serve as screening exam for Main exam. But now there will be no interviews for IBPS Clerk VI recruitment and 100% weightage will be of Main exam.
Eligibility for IBPS Clerk
The age eligibility criteria for the recruitment of IBPS Clerk under CWE are:
Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than 01.08.1996 (both dates inclusive)
Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Computer Literacy : Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT
The Exam Pattern
- Online Objective Preliminary exam: The test will be online objective type, consisting of (i) English Language (30 questions of 30 marks) (ii) Numerical Ability (35 questions of 35 marks) (iii) Reasoning Ability (35 questions of 35 marks) (Total 100 marks).Duration: 1 hour
- Online Objective Main exam: (i) Reasoning Ability (40 questions of 50 marks within 30 minutes), (ii) English Language (40 questions of 40 marks within 30 minutes), (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions of 50 marks within 30 minutes), (i) General Awareness (with special reference to banking)( 40 questions of 40 marks within 25 minutes), (v) Computer Knowledge (40 questions of 20 marks within 20 minutes) (Total 200 questions of 200 marks with time duration of 135 minutes).
Except the English Language test rest all are available in Hindi and English language. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the objective test. ¼ th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
Process of Registration
As per the latest available notification of IBPS the candidates can get themselves registered for IBPS CWE Clerk- VI exam through online mode only and there will be a single registration for both Preliminary as well as Main examination where ever applicable.
Mode of Payment
Mode of payment of application fees or intimation charges is also online only through Debit cards (Master / Visa/ Ru Pay/ Maestro), Credit cards, Internet banking, IMPS, Mobile Wallet and Cash cards. No other option of mode of payment shall be entertained.
