Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts its own Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) for various courses in Law.  It offers B.A.LLB (Integrated) and BBA LLB (Integrated) for undergraduate students and LL.M for post graduate students.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, 'A' Grade accreditation with NAAC, established by Government of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998. The University has 100 affiliated institutes; of these, 76 are self financed and 24 are owned and managed by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi/Govt. of India. In these affiliated institutions, 80 academic programmes are being conducted with an intake of 22,000+ students with a total strength of 62,000+.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IPU CET- B.A.LLB (Integrated) and BBA LLB (Integrated) are mentioned below:

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IPU CET- LL.M are mentioned below:

LL.B. Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an advocate or an equivalent law degree from a foreign university, in either case with not less than 50% marks.

The syllabus/exam pattern for IPU CET- LL.M is mentioned below:

Don’t overlook

  • The IPU-CET is paper based test
  • Each question shall carry four marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
  • The Written Test will carry 600 marks
  • CET for UG courses are usually conducted in the last week of May and results get out by first week of June every year.
  • CET for PG courses are usually conducted in the first week of May and results get out within ten days of CET.

Application Procedure

  • The mode of application for IPU-CET is online.
  • The candidate is charged Rs. 750/- as Common Entrance Test Fee and application form which is made available in the month of February. 
  • The Admit Cards are made available 7 days before the actual commencement of the CET and are sent only by e-mail. The same can be downloaded by using candidates log-in ID and password.
  • One application form is valid only for One CET Code. For applying in more than One CET Code, the applicant should apply separately.
