Reading: Don’t expect familiarity!
Those who think they can crack an RC passage better if they had read a similar topic before are utterly mistaken. Yes, familiarity of a topic may help in the initial few minutes but at the end it is an unseen passage. And it is as difficult as a passage with an unknown topic.
TIP : Never have strong biases in favour of or against topics. Focus on three main things in each passage: what is the purpose of the passage? What are the questions focusing on? What are the question types and what are they testing?
